This story begins where it all started: with the world’s best riders. From World Cup downhill courses to secret test tracks, the new BoXXer builds on a legacy of speed, dating back to the days of Nicolas Vouilloz and Steve Peat. Today’s elite athletes, like Vali Höll and Loris Vergier, helped us create the best BoXXer yet. Extensive development led to a new chassis, air spring, and updated damper. Built on its high-performance legacy, the latest BoXXer was redesigned top to bottom to win races—or simply chase your buddies down the mountain.

NO COMPROMISES.
We could have made the stiffest fork possible, but we didn’t. Two years of extensive development resulted in the all-new 38mm BoXXer chassis. After countless bike park laps, race runs, and lab test cycles, we found the perfect balance between ride quality, steering precision, and stiffness. It isn’t all about the numbers. It’s about giving you the control and feel you need to choose any line you like.
BoXXer’s 38mm stanchions are just the beginning. These upper tubes harmonize with the lowers to deliver ideal ride characteristics. Through extensive riding and testing, we tuned the stanchion wall thickness and lower leg architecture for stiffness that accepts steering input without beating up your hands. This way, you’re the one steering the fork, not the other way around.

BUILT TO HANDLE THE PRESSURE NEW DEBONAIR+
BoXXer’s new DebonAir+ twin tube design is unlike any air spring we’ve made before—and it rides that way. The action is so coil-like, it’s uncanny. Off the top, BoXXer is impossibly responsive and supple, but it wants to eat when the big square-edged hits start coming. The new BoXXer rides on the twin tube air spring, a separate air chamber that nests inside of the 38mm uppers. This optimizes the positive air chamber volume for that hole-swallowing linear spring curve. You can use every single millimeter of travel (if you need it).
At the top of the travel, we boosted the negative air chamber volume to quiet down trail buzz. At the bottom of the stroke, a new jounce bottom-out bumper gives you soft, clank-free landings off the biggest drops. No matter if you’re cornering, careening through rocks, or on a choppy straightaway, BoXXer finds traction where you never thought to look.

THE GOLDEN SOLUTION BUTTERCUPS
Little gold-packaged rubber pucks live at the end of the damper and air spring shafts and fit into the lower leg of the fork. Similar technology is found in off-road vehicles, chainsaws, and most devices that transfer high-frequency vibrations into the hands and arms of the user. Like a rubber mount on the handle of the chainsaw, ButterCups dampen high-frequency vibrations before they hit your hands and arms and lead to an early end to an otherwise good day.

NO GUTS, NO GLORY CHARGER 3
We scrapped everything and started from scratch. It took a fresh set of eyes to produce what became the Charger 3 damper. The result gives way to a new era of riding, where the decision between adding more damping and sacrificing your hands to a harsh ride doesn’t exist. Charger 3 is a complete revolution in damper tunability.
For BoXXer, Charger 3 was tuned to match the new chassis and air spring. Every rider can find their sweet spot within the precise and meaningful range of adjustments. We promise.
